Join us on 15 October to discuss new forms of internationalisation.
Over the next year, the ACU will host a series of four summits with the following themes:
- New forms of internationalisation (15 October)
- Enhancing student experience in international mobility in times of COVID-19
- Developing research partnerships for the SDGs
- New international partnerships for enhancing blended and online learning
The first of these Summits - New forms of internationalisation - will be a great opportunity for you to meet ACU colleagues and ACU Champions at universities across the Commonwealth.
Following a presentation from the ACU and an introduction of the main theme, attendees will be invited to join a smaller interactive virtual discussion group to explore issues in more depth and to get to know each other better. We will use this first meeting to look at changes in the broad set of international engagement activities for universities – across learning and teaching, research and scholarship, and service and community in order to hear, from participants, how things are changing in light of the ongoing global pandemic (as well as how they are staying the same).
Who can attend?
On this occasion, invitations to the Summit will be limited to ACU Champions only and invitations are not transferable. At future Summits there will be a ‘bring a friend’ option to involve relevant colleagues for each subsequent theme.
How to attend
All ACU Champions should have received an email invitation. If you are an ACU Champion and you have not received this, please contact us.
Become an ACU Champion
ACU Champions should have an international remit (for example, international office, partnerships) at an ACU member university. Champions help facilitate stronger communication between the ACU and your university.
If you're interested in becoming an ACU Champion, read the Terms of Reference.
