Update: This event has been postponed until summer 2021. We will advise nearer the time of the new date so attendees can re-register.
The ACU Commonwealth Climate Resilience Network (CCRN), Fiji National University and the University of the South Pacific will co-host a webinar on Tuesday 16 February 2021 (Fiji); Monday 15 February 2021 (UK).
The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) is a GBP 1.5 billion fund announced by the UK Government in late 2015 to support cutting-edge research that addresses global challenges. The webinar will cover opportunities and emerging priorities under the UKRI Global Challenges Research Fund Resilience Portfolio, with Challenge Leader, Resilience to Environmental Shocks and Change Portfolio, Professor Mark Pelling.
The event will also provide a forum for sharing regional perspectives on research themes such as systemic risk, resilience and development, and equitable international partnerships. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A at the end of the session.
Who should attend?
This event is open to ACU members. It will be particularly relevant for those who are actively engaged or interested in research or climate resilience activities within your institution.
A recording of the webinar will be made available to all who register.
