The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and the British Council have partnered to produce crucial new research investigating the role of international higher education partnerships in addressing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and how institutions can build equitable, impactful partnerships.
Join us on Wednesday 12 January to hear the headlines from this study followed by an exploratory discussion with an expert panel including the report authors, programme funders and global higher education leaders.
This event will offer an exclusive glimpse of the research, adding to the global body of evidence that international higher education partnerships have a vital role to play in tackling shared global challenges – helping to develop vital skills, ideas, knowledge, research, innovation and collaborative solutions.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Maddalaine Ansell, Director Education, British Council
- Adam Krcal, Principal Consultant, Technopolis Group
- Professor Pamela Dube, Deputy-Vice Chancellor: Student Development and Support, University of the Western Cape, South Africa and Co-Chair of the ACU’s Higher Education and the SDGs Network
