This online session is part of a programme of events focused on a call to action on sustainable urbanisation across the Commonwealth.

Join us at this year's UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) – the yearly conference of the United Nations reviewing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This live interactive session, hosted by the British Council, will explore ways in which universities from around the world are integrating the UN’s SDGs into their learning/teaching activities.

This inaugural ACU Peace and Reconciliation Network Conference - in partnership with Stellenbosch University – has been moved online, due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Hosted by Durban University of Technology, South Africa, the third Commonwealth Futures workshop will explore common challenges relating to violence and nonviolence faced by students across the globe.

The second Commonwealth Futures workshop will convene young leaders at O P Jindal Global University in India to explore Ghandian approaches to democracy, peace and much more.

Tristan McCowan from UCL’s Institute for Education will be speaking at the ACU on 30 January about ‘What role for universities in sustainable development?’

The Council for Education in the Commonwealth has joined forces with the ACU for its 60th anniversary conference, focusing on the role of health, sport and play in education.

Over the course of three days, young leaders from across the Commonwealth will convene at Cumberland Lodge, UK, for the first workshop in the Commonwealth Futures series.
